User Agreement

Welcome to Qilin Live!
Please read the terms of this User Agreement (hereinafter referred to as "this Agreement") carefully and ensure you fully understand them, particularly the clauses regarding the limitation or exclusion of liability, as well as separate agreements for activating or using specific services. You must choose to accept or not accept them. Unless you have read and accepted all the terms of this Agreement, you are not authorized to use our services. Your registration, login, use, or other related actions will be deemed as your acceptance of this Agreement and your agreement to be bound by its terms.
If you are under the18 years of age, please read this Agreement in the presence of your legal guardian, paying special attention to the terms regarding use by minors.
1. Scope of the Agreement
1.1 This Agreement is entered into between you (hereinafter referred to as the "User") and the operator of the Qilin Live platform (hereinafter referred to as "we" or the "Platform") regarding your use of the various services provided by the Qilin Live platform.
1.2 The services under this Agreement refer to those provided to you by us through the Qilin Live website, client applications, etc., including but not limited to: initiating live streams, watching live streams, watching short videos, creating group chats, participating in group chats, private messaging, and sending virtual gifts (hereinafter referred to as "the Services").
2. Account Registration and Security
2.1 You need to register a Qilin Live account to use the core functions. During registration, you must provide personal information that is true, accurate, complete, and lawful.
2.2 The ownership of the account you register belongs to the Platform. You obtain the right to use the account. You shall not transfer, rent, lend, or share your account with others in any way.
2.3 You are responsible for safeguarding your account and password and shall bear full responsibility for all activities conducted under your account. The Platform shall not be liable for any losses caused by your active disclosure of your account details or by attacks, fraud, or other actions inflicted upon you by others.
3. Code of Conduct
3.1 You must abide by laws and regulations, uphold national interests, protect the lawful rights and interests of citizens, maintain social public order, adhere to moral standards, and ensure information authenticity—the "Seven Bottom Lines"—when using the Services.
3.2 You are strictly prohibited from engaging in the following activities, including but not limited to:
Publishing content that violates national laws and regulations, endangers national security, undermines ethnic unity, promotes cults and feudal superstitions;
Publishing content involving pornography, gambling, violence, murder, terrorism, or incitement to commit crimes;
Insulting, slandering, harassing, threatening, or bullying others, infringing upon others' legitimate rights such as reputation, privacy, or portrait rights;
Publishing others' personal information or trade secrets without permission;
Engaging in any fraudulent or deceptive activities (e.g., fake live streams, gift scams);
Spreading spam advertisements, malware, or engaging in any behavior that disrupts the normal order of the Platform (e.g., spamming, using plug-ins, maliciously poaching users);
Infringing upon any third party's intellectual property rights (e.g., unauthorized streaming of影视content (audiovisual content), playing others' music, using others' video materials);
Any behavior that violates public order and good customs or is otherwise prohibited by law.
3.3 You understand and agree that you are solely responsible for the authenticity, legality, and accuracy of all content you generate (hereinafter referred to as "User Content") in any context, including live streams, short videos, group chats, and private chats. The Platform cannot, nor is it obligated to, conduct prior review of all User Content.
4. Intellectual Property
4.1 The software, technology, interfaces, logos, the "Qilin Live" trademark, and other intellectual property provided by the Platform are owned by the Platform.
4.2 You retain the intellectual property rights to the User Content (live streams, short videos, images, text, etc.) that you publish through the Services. However, you grant the Platform a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licensable license to use, distribute, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and create derivative works based on your User Content for the purpose of providing the Services and promoting the Platform.
4.3 Without the prior written consent of the Platform or the relevant rights holder, you shall not, for any commercial or non-commercial purpose, use or permit any third party to use any of the Platform's services or content.
5. Virtual Items
5.1 The Platform may provide virtual currencies (such as "C Beans", "T Beans", etc.) and virtual gifts. You can use them to exchange for services within the Platform, such as virtual gifts.
5.2 You fully understand and agree: Virtual gifts are non-refundable, non-redeemable for cash, and cannot be converted back once purchased or sent. They are仅限于 (only for) use within this Platform, hold no real-world monetary value, and are not considered your property.
5.3 Any form of private transaction involving virtual items is strictly prohibited. The Platform assumes no responsibility for issues arising from such transactions and has the right to penalize accounts involved in them.
6. Privacy Policy
6.1 Protecting user privacy is a fundamental principle for us. The Platform will detail how it collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information in a separate "Qilin Live Privacy Policy".
6.2 By registering for and using the Services, you agree to the Platform collecting and using your information in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimer
7.1 You understand and agree that the Services are provided "as is". The Platform does not guarantee that the services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, reliable, or error-free.
7.2 The Platform shall not be liable for service interruptions, data loss, or other issues caused by force majeure, computer viruses, hacker attacks, system instability, defects in third-party services, or any other network or technical reasons.
7.3 The Platform has the right to unilaterally modify, interrupt, or terminate the service content based on business development needs, but shall endeavor to provide prior notice.
8. Handling of Violations
8.1 If the Platform discovers or receives reports that you have violated this Agreement, the Platform has the right to independently judge the situation and take technical measures to delete or block违规content (content that violates the rules), restrict account functions (e.g., mute), suspend live streaming permissions, suspend or permanently ban the account, among other penalties, and may announce the handling results.
8.2 If you violate laws, regulations, or this Agreement, causing losses to the Platform or any third party, you shall bear all legal liability independently and compensate for the losses.
9. Modification and Termination of the Agreement
9.1 The Platform has the right to modify the terms of this Agreement when necessary. The modified agreement will take effect after being published in a prominent位置 (location) on the Platform. If you do not agree with the modifications, please stop using the Services immediately.
9.2 You have the right to terminate this Agreement by ceasing to use the Services or by注销账号 (deactivating/deleting your account).
9.3 The Platform has the right, based on this Agreement, to ban accounts that violate the rules, thereby terminating the provision of services to those accounts.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
10.1 The formation, validity, performance, interpretation, and dispute resolution of this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the mainland of the People's Republic of China.
10.2 Should any dispute or controversy arise between you and the Platform, the parties shall first attempt to resolve it through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, you agree to submit the dispute or controversy to the competent people's court in the jurisdiction of our main place of operation for litigation.
11. Miscellaneous
11.1 Matters not covered in this Agreement shall be handled in accordance with the specific rules issued by the Platform from time to time.
